Gnome Shell 3.2 – Alt F2 reactivate

I really like this extension and tweaking stuff.
I found some interesting ideas here.

The trick with the Alt F2 is very simple:

ALT + F2 doesn’t work by default in GNOME Shell under Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot.
To fix it, open “System Settings” and under Keyboard > Shortcuts > System, click “Disabled” next to “Show the run command prompt”
and press ALT + F2
– this should set ALT + F2 for running the command prompt.

    When my Alt+2 keyboard shortcut stopped working I looked under under Keyboard > Shortcuts > System and saw that it was disabled. However I can not enter any new shortcut. It seems impossible to enable this shortcut.

    @Jon:
    You have to click on the row marked “Show the run command prompt”, then click exactly on top of the text saying “Disabled”. It should then change to “New Shortcut…” and you can press Alt+F2 to set the shortcut.
